i didnt post yesterday coz i was so sleepy i went to bed once i got home. well, i did pedicure yesterday. the color supposedly suck coz itz too pinky pinky. but i like it no matter. okies. today, is a very special day. REMEMBER MY GIRL FROM MYANAMR ? she's kan kan BTW, WELL I MET HER !!!!!!!!!! ha ha holy shit. she looks the same ! well at least i can recognize her :o) ha ha ha holy. i was so happy when i saw her.
so while momsie and i were shopping for groceries from isetan, she called and taa-dah ! like after 30 minits, momsie and i took the tube to choa chu kang which is very long !!! imagine : in the stuffy tube for 48 minits. is not a very pretty sight and feeling. she was waiting at the tube station and just so you know, she didn't meet us at orchard cos she's still not familiar with the routes here. ha ! ha! when we saw each other, we smiled so big till there were tears in ALL 3 OF US' EYEZ !! since we couldn't get a quiet place in lot one, we went to the library instead and cought up there. she's moving in to the hostel with me !! see, my life is gettin good. but she gotsa stay in the current house for 6 months first cos thats the contract thingo. ha ha ! it was funny when i called jaw so they could talk. cos well . . jaw is her - beams. -
i went to have my brows THREAD. yes itz my first time.
amily. " lisa wants to thread her eye brows. "
and i thot. fuck. EYE BROWS THREADING !? to confirm my fright, i went to check up on thread in my mobile's dictionary and it says, in mandarin, threading's like sewing. like sweing THRU something. i was just about to ask amily what the fork threading is when anna comes in.
i laid back on the arm chair and shut my eyes.
anna. " help me pull this dear. "
i opened my eyes and fuck !!! she was holding the thread in between her lips and i bolted right up.
" what's this ?????? " i asked.
" eye brow threading. " she answered.
" i want tweezing. just trim it, " i said cos i thot it was like sweing up my brows to get those sorta tattooed brows.
anna then went over to amily and told her i wanted a tweezing, not threading. yadee deedah, i asked them wots the procedure like and they said it's like tweezing except this is faster. so when i laid back at the chair second time round, anna said pull this for me dear and i pulled her thread !!!!! ha ha holy shit !!!!
GIRLS. well lemme share with yer some informations about brows threading so you wouldnt land yourself into the similar awkward situations like i did. BT is just like shaping your brows 'cept this is using thread to shape 'em insteada tweezers. it'll be a little painful unless you shut your eyez. i don't kno how on mother earth can thread actually cut your hairs but damn. this thread def can. even the tiniest hair like being cut away neatly, leaving absolutely no traces of tiny hair. and it takes at most 15 minits to complete both brows and the result is fascintaing, really there's a pretty arch there and well yeh. oh do keep in mind when they say pull it for me here dear, you pull the skin above your brows, NOT THE THREAD FROM HER MOUTH !!!! :oD
okay so anyway. after meeting KK, momsie and i took the tube back to city hall to get to allson hotel to pack home her bird nest. with that, we got home, safely ^^
